Cybernomics introduces Internet Publishing Suites as it celebrates 13 years, 2005
Baudry Cybernomics Corporation will begin offering Content Management in addition to its extensive repertoire of Business Consulting, Network Management and Support Services. The March 31st date was chosen to announce the news because it coincides with the IT Company’s 13thanniversary.
“I really believe that this is the next stage in the Information Technology industry,” said Jean-Jerome Baudry, Founder and CEO of Cybernomics. “Because of our close relationship with the customer, we get a lot of feedback. And I’ve had a lot of clients come to me and complain that there was no way for them to successfully manage their content. I started really thinking about this and decided - why can’t IT involve that aspect as well?”
In order to address concerns such as these, Cybernomics now provides a complete suite of Content Management options, which they call “Internet Publishing and Information Services”. These options include web design, copywriting and website architecture and construction; services that are necessary in the advancement of the industry, says Mr. Baudry:
“The idea of ‘publishing’ documents online has been around for some time. But we’re taking it beyond simply providing information by means of the Internet. We’re really publishing. We have an entire team devoted to the design, layout and construction of the actual website, as well as copywriters and editors, a brand manager… These are the people that differentiate us from other IT firms. We treat the medium of the Internet with respect, because we want to achieve its full potential.”
Content management has been a source of frustration for companies who depend on the Internet as an important means of reaching clients and potential clients. Well-structured and clearly-written websites are lacking, even though it is becoming evident that more and more industries are relying on a strong online presence to reach an ever-expanding global market. Cybernomics recognized that the status quo was no longer sufficient in the realm of managing online content and decided to make that change.
“IT has always been about providing ’solutions’…And we came to realize that Content Management was the next logical step,” concludes Rick Talbot, Project Manager. “This is the next focus of our attention. This is what needs to be solved.”
Cybernomics has been providing IT Consulting, Management and Support for many well-known companies and non-profit groups in Canada since 1993.
